We kicked off the warmer weather by playing in the water with Miss Maddie on Wednesday. I was busy watering my vegetables and Maddie kept trying to get in the water. She was getting her clothes wet, so I eventually said the heck with it and stripped her down to her skivvies and of course grabbed my camera. She had so much fun! These pictures captured her little giggles of delight perfectly. The water was so cold, I honestly don’t know how she stood it. Isn’t it funny how kids are so resilient to cold temperatures? I remember never getting cold in the water. We used to go swimming on Easter Sunday (sometimes in March!). I have a feeling we are going to need to invest in some kind of sprinkler system for her to run around in this summer!
